SHERMAN - Visitation for Terry Gaines Mitchell will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Home. Graveside services will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Pastor John Matey will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.Mr. Mitchell passed away Saturday Aug 31, 2013 at his home in Sherman. Terry was born Jan. 12, 1950 in Sherman to William Henry Mitchell and Cathleen (Aldridge) Mitchell. He married Vicki Mitchell on Sept 11, 1970 in Sherman. Terry was a loving husband and father who will be remembered by his family for his enjoyment he received from going to Goodwill and to garage sales to find the thrift deal of the day. He loved spending time with his dogs.Terry is survived by his wife, Vicki Mitchell of Sherman; son, Craig Mitchell and wife Kathy of Sherman; son, Chad Mitchell and wife Laura of Denton; daughter, Jennifer Mitchell and husband Wylie of Southmayd; sister, Carol Ketthut and husband Bob of Richardson; brother, William Henry Mitchell Jr. and wife Kathy of Denison; brother, Ronnie Mitchell and wife Caroline of Howe; grandchildren, Britney Mitchell, Ariel Haskett, Garrett Mitchell, Isaac Haskett, Seth Maupin, Joshua Mitchell, Liam Mitchell, and Olivia Bloemker.
