Peggy died on 6/19/1993 from heart failure.

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel for 43 year-old Sherman resident Peggy Jenice Rowell who died Saturday of heart failure during surgery for a  blocked colon at Wichita General Hospital in Wichita Falls.

Rev. Danny Wood of West Sherman Baptist Church will officiate.  Burial is at West Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Rowell was born in Sherman, the daughter of Douglas Lee Woodson and Joye Marie Brown Woodson.  She married David Rowell May 24, 1968 in Sherman.

She was a sale's clerk at Winn's, a graduate of Sherman High School and Grayson College of Cosmetology.  She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband of Sherman; son, David Rowell Jr. of Sherman; parents of Hurst; sisters, Pat Belew of Hurst, Debra Stong of Hurst, Diane Cramer of Hurst.

Pallbearers are Jim McCanlies, Mike McCanlies, Marty Belew, Doug Strong, John Cramer, Buster Belew.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at other times at the Eva Branham residence.
