Kimberly Ringer Ringer

I have mainly lived in Texas since graduation from Baylor University. My sister, Missy and I were blessed to visit in Shreveport often until 2013 as our mom still lived on Shady Lane where we grew up. We still call Shreveport home as it will always hold that special place in our hearts. Nothing can ever replace "home". I have worked as an Audiologist/Sales Rep for Oticon Inc, a hearing instrument manufacturer, for 28 years travelling Texas, Louisiana and other states, telling Audiologists and Physicians about the great advances in Oticon hearing instruments for folks that struggle with hearing loss and in noise. At 48 I found out my "brain" still worked as I studied for my clinical doctorate in Audiology. Boy, was I glad when that was over, so I had time to sleep again!

Greg and I have been married for 23 years and have an amazing 22 year old son, Blake, who is attending Texas State University in San Marcos TX and studying Construction Science and Management and Business. He is interested in Green building and renewable and sustainable resources. He is also a Scuba Instructor.

We proudly own Ringer Windows, a Window Manufacturing Company out of Taylor Texas. Greg manages and runs the business on a daily basis. He builds windows for the Texas weather and heat and his specialty is mainly retrofit windows for homes. Call us if you are in Central Texas and need some energy efficient windows for your home.

My motto is I "work so I can travel". Seeing the world and enjoying this life is important to me, as is working hard each day at the profession I enjoy. I am blessed to have a twin sister, Missy, who loves this also so we often get together and go places. Our spouses and children seem to enjoy it also - so we often let them come along! Life is short people....get out and enjoy it! It's the only one you get! I also love to volunteer with homeless ministries as well as the Red Cross.

I Loved being a part of the biggest and most amazing Pep Squad in history! I remember many hot, hot summer days practicing and practicing but having the time of my life being a part of something so amazing! Posse A all the way!

Realize that you have the rest of your life to work, so make sure you mix lots of fun times in with the work - go see the world, your wonderful country, explore all around you. Make a new friend wherever you go as friends make the world go round.

Find a career that makes you happy and that you can feel fulfilled each day. It doesn't matter what it is but something you want to get up each morning and do. It makes it all worthwhile

Love your family and stay close to all. Life is so precious and so short. Love each day together as it dawns new and full of opportunity.

Give back to your community and to your world. Be a giver, pay it forward! Be part of the solution, not the problem.

I wanted to be a nurse- but thank God that didn't happen. I would have been a horrible nurse. God knew what he was doing!
