Miles City, MT

What are your parents and/or siblings doing now?

Sister is in Minneapolis, MN
Dad is still farming sugar beets...he's never going to retire
Mom is in Wickenburg, AZ but soon moving to MN to be closer to my sister.

What did you want to be in high school, and are you now doing it?

Actually Software Development. I took Pascal Programming from Ms. Emmel when we were Sophomores and I was hooked instantly.

I've always loved computers and having the internet take off during our HS years absolutely blew my mind. I'm so glad and feel fortunate to have chosen a career path that I enjoy and that touches our every day lives.

Share a high school memory that sticks with you after 20 years. What was the dumbest thing you did in high school, and did you have fun doing it? What was your funniest moment? What was your most embarrassing moment?

Not so much that there was one memory, but the combined memories of everything. I may not have been close friends with everyone, but I can recall at least one nice interaction with EVERY SINGLE ONE of our classmates and that's something rare that most kids don't get.

Is there something you wanted to do in high school but never did?

Actually graduate from SHS. Due to family circumstances, I had to move to Miles City and become a "Cowboy" - booo, I know.

It was so hard to leave everyone behind...friends that I was super close with, classmates that I had grown up with, & traditions we had shared.

What was your favorite class?

Band, hands down. So many fun memories involving Pep Band trips!

Which teachers influenced your life and made a lasting impression? Why?

Ms. Emmel - without taking her programming class, I'm not sure I would have found my career calling.

What is your favorite food or restaurant?

Pizza House! Seriously, those breadsticks & pizza sauce must be laced with cocaine.

What is your favorite beverage?

Is was Mountain Dew....holy hell, I drank way too much of that stuff back in the day. Funny enough, I can't stand it now.

Nowdays...Monster Rehab & good beer!
