Lee Russell Elander Jr passed away on October 24, 1996 at Memorial Hospital in Clarksville, TN. from a massive heart attack. 

Lee was born in Sidney NY on July 18, 1941 and resided in Amsterdam NY for the several years.  He was a veteran of the US Navy and was employed by American Airlines as general manager of Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Ga until his retirement in 1988.  At one time time, he served as a an EMT with the New Berlin Volunteer Ambulance Service. 

He is survived by his wife, Diane K, Howard, two sons, Lee Russell III of Pleasant View, TN and Gregory Robert of Kingston PA, his brother, Harvey Bruce Elander of Pompano Beach, FL, his sister, Pat Elander Torrington of Newport, NC and five grandchildren. 

He is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY, near Florida NY.
