After graduating from SUNY Geneseo in 1971, my husband, Don, and I spent several months managing a fishing and hunting camp in Quebec, Canada. We returned to Dansville, NY (Don's home town) and began a photography and custom framing business in the Fall of 1972. After his death in May 2013, I closed Don's well established business of almost 41 years.
In 1973 I accepted a clerical position in the Superintendent's office of the Dansville School District and have been employed there ever since ultimately becoming the Secretary to the Superintendent. I truly enjoy working in a school setting and both of our children have become teachers in this school system. I RETIRED AUGUST 30, 2011!
Don's profession offered several opportunities for us to visit various parts of the East Coast, particularly Cape Cod. We made several trips every year doing professional photography at the Cape. Many of Don's photographs were published in Cape Cod Life Magazine (several cover shots) and in the Cape Cod Travel Guide. His limited edition photographs are still being sold at SOHO's Art Company in Hyannis, MA.
I now have 4 wonderful grandchildren, Hannah, Gage, Carter, and Finley.
