Pamela Pendorf Thomas

My husband, Randy, and I have been married for 8 or 9 years (I can't remember, which is really sad!!!) We've lived in Midway, KY for about 5 years and I have to say that it has been a pleasure moving back to a small town after several years of living in more urban areas. I am the committee staff administrator for the Appropriations & Revenue Committee of the KY General Assembly - we are non-partisan staff who are responsible for drafting all of the tax legislation - I've worked for state government in KY since 1991 after a short stint in private law practice in Lexington, KY (Specializing in tax)- I just had my 20 year reunion for my graduation from law school ... can't believe I'm this old! My youngest son, Jackson, graduated from high school last year and attends Tulane University in New Orleans. My older son, Ben, is a chef and attends the community college in Lexington, and my step-daughther Jacqueline is a sophomore at UK. I can't run anymore after 9 knee surgeries, but my husband and I are avid bicycle riders - we did a ride this summer across Iowa called RAGBRAI - 471 miles in 7 days ... and we had a blast! I do a lot of volunteer work in the community and coach a middle school cross country team (which I absolutely love). Have really enjoyed reading about what everyone is doing!!!
