I've been married for 37 years, have taught for 29 years, and am now enjoying my 2 year old grandson who lives close by. I live in a wonderful place here in N.E. Ct. with terrific friends and neighbors. I am now part owner of a condo at Leisure World in Md. with my younger sister (who is still single, funny, and a great lady - Candy Clagett). I maintain contact with my wonderful cousin, Linda Clagett Stuntz who I've always admired and loved.
I love biking, have done a few centuries, and want to bike in Europe. Enjoy hiking, cooking, and life. I'm always involved in charity fundraisers and am active at my church.
Our son is a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador who lives and works with an indigenous tribe, the T'schilas, who live an hour from the equator in Quito. We have been to visit him twice, and tied in a trip to the Cloud Forest, the Galapogos, and the Amazon.

I was in love with my world civ teacher Mr. Demert.

Also loved Joe Gorman who dumped me for another, possibly his current wife.

Really loved Karl Noyes, who went to Damascus High School. I met him on the basketball court near my house.

I walked a couple of miles to school through the park, often by myself!

I was thrilled with timed typing tests and did get to over 100 words a minute! Oh those were the days!

My junior year summer I started working at a bank, where I met my husband Rick, 3 years older and a college student. He was a tanned hunk, bringing in his paycheck from his summer construction job. He wrote on his withdrawal slip "I want to take you out".

During my senior I worked at the bank in the afternoons, so I was somewhat disconnected from school.
