DRIGGS, Patricia McCabe ">On January 14, 2005, of Autoimmune Hepatitis at her sisters home in Sunnyvale, CA, PATRICIA McCABE DRIGGS, 53, a former missionary for Mercy Ships. Ms. Driggs was born in Berlin, Germany. She relocated to the States with her family in 1959 and resided in Kensington and Silver Spring. A 1970 Graduate of Northwood High School, Ms. Driggs was a trampoline and tennis enthusiast. Ms. Driggs' whole life was defined by helping others-she went on to perform missionary work overseas and spent most of her time on the Mercy Ships, traveling to third world countries, primarily Africa. She then settled in Lindale, TX where she worked for a law firm and also continued her duties with the Mercy Ships. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Von Driggs, of Lindale, TX; a daughter, Celeste Driggs, of Lindale; a son, Ivan Driggs, of Arcata, CA; a mother, Marion McCabe, of Silver Spring; two sisters, Catherine Bowen, of Glenwood and Jacqueline Signor, of Sunnyvale, CA; two brothers, Thomas McCabe, of Menlo Park, CA and Daniel McCabe, of Gaithersburg; and two grandchildren.
