I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1969 and headed for Texas, and graduated from Baylor University Law School in 1972.
I handled mostly divorce cases for several years, but then switched to criminal defense because I wanted to deal with a better class of people.
After doing all the damage that I could, I retired (quit) in 2014, and am concentrating on fiction writing. My first endeavor was "Aimless Journey" which was released last year. It is available through my website, www.alankazdoy.com or from Amazon.com.
I enjoy writing, as I find it very similar to practicing law. In both cases I tell lies for a living. When not indulging this and other hobbies, my wife, Mackie, and I enjoy traveling, ideally on cruise ships, where we have, and continue to see the world. This year we will be taking a river cruise from Luxembourg to Amsterdam, and we have booked a transatlantic cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Lisbon. As long as our health (and money) hold out, we will continue our travels.
