About a year after High School, I went to South Africa (with my Mom and her newly-wed South African husband) with the main focus of getting my Bachelars degree (Accounting & Finance - I know boring!). I met my wife Carmen in college there and we worked in South Africa for a few years before heading back to the USA in 1999. We settled in Charlotte, NC so Carmen can be close to her family here and so I could be close to mine once they moved here :) Did my Masters at Winthrop University, SC part-time and very happy to be done with studying so I can focus on enjoying life as much as one can before I get too old :)
