Anything you would do differently if you could go back to your time at Heelan?

Date more guys....just kidding! :)

I had alot of guy friends at Heelan but didn't really have a steady long term boyfriend like alot of girls did....and for me that was perfect!!

I had a lot of great girlfriends that would of done anything for me....and I will always be grateful for that!!

I didn't get asked to all the dances...just about all of them but not ALL of them...what's up with that????
Quiet, shy girls are fun too!! Ask my husband!!!

Comments:

Jessica and Brittany are both in college. And Casey will be next in the fall.

Jessica is taking psychology classes (scares me cuz than she might try to diagnose me...lol) and has a boyfriend, Matt, she's been dating for over 2 years. She stays really busy with him and their two dogs, Gizmo and Heidi. She works at Mercy Medical in the gift shop and really enjoys it.

Brittany is getting married on July 17, 2010. Her finance is Dexter Sauer who also attended Heelan. He was an awesome pitcher on the 2005 state championship baseball team! He is currently in Afghanistan. They have been dating for over 4 years and we already consider him to be part of the family. The wedding will be a blast...we will be having it at the Marina Inn and he has a big family and we do also so....look out SSC!! We have been having a lot of fun planning her wedding and Dexter will be home from Afghanistan about a month before it. After they get married, Dexter will have a year and a half left on his contract and depending on whether or not he re-enlists they will most likely go to Alaska for the remainder of that time. I hope if he does re-enlist, they get stationed somewhere closer to home! :) Before his deployment, Brittany went to Alaska to check out the area and to of course, see him before he left. Brittany is taking business classes. She just changed her major from radiology because she decided it wasn't for her. She is a nanny for Rick and Cathy Wegher out in the Dakota Dunes. She has been doing that for over 2 years and really enjoys it.

Casey just graduated this year!! Yeah...he was more than ready. He will be attending WIT to get all his generals done and than go from there. He is undecided on a career path...which is fine....I don't expect him to rush that. Take your time and end up doing what you love is my motto!!! Casey graduated at mid-term because he had acquired enough credits but still attended graduation ceremonies with his classmates in May. The second half of his senior year he took classes through WIT to get a jump start on his college degree. He also worked full-time at Premier Bankcard but just decided he wanted to work outside for the summer. Any ideas?! Let me know ;)

Cody is my BABY...and is going to be a Junior in the fall....I still can't believe it! It seems like yesterday I was at our first high school reunion and I was getting crap from everyone for having four babies in 5 years...and he was only 2 than!!! He loves sports and GIRLS!!! That pretty much takes up all of his time...and dad is sooo proud of him for both of the above mentioned!! haha! :) He is already getting in shape for football and really enjoys working out. I wish I had the same momentum! ;)

Jessica will be the Maid of Honor in Brittany's wedding and both boys will be groomsmen.

We also have a Beagle named Gunner and we have had him for about 6 years.

We do a lot with my mom who is still living in the house I grew up in. She is doing good and stays busy with all the kids' activities. She always asks about my high school friends and how they are doing. She loves you all and I think you all know that. My dad passed away in February of 2006 at 89. He would of been 90 in that July. We all miss him dearly and know he is looking over us. <3

I hope all of you have been great since I saw you 5 years ago....Brian and I had soooooo much fun at the 20 year reunion.

Can't wait to see you all again. :) Take care, god bless and here's to a great class that was truly close and stuck together for 4 great years of memories!!!

Favorite Story From your years at Heelan:

Too many to mention, but the football games, basketball games, drill team camps, socials and memories of the loop always bring smiles to my face!!

I also remember a party at my house senior year that moved up to leif erikson pool for some after hours swimming that was crazy and a little revealing.... on the guys part at least!! haha Be careful on that fence man!!!

And thanks ladies for helping me roll the keg up my front lawn the morning of the party!

What did you do right after high school?

I went to Briar Cliff and enjoyed four great years of friends, and parties and a lot of drinking and meeting a lot of great new people....oh and yeah I did get a degree out of it too!!!

And I got to sit next to Dan Conlon when I graduated from B.C. in the commencement ceremony.....Dan's the man you know and one hell of a great guy!!! Go Irish!!!

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

Go to college....it was always the plan!!

What do you do now?

HR

How did you get into that?

Business Degree

What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?

Run a marathon or do Ragbrai. I just started riding my bike again like I use to in my younger years. I'm trying to get in shape and am going to start doing different bike rides for different causes with my sister, who is currently doing them, and with my kids who are also beginning to ride with me. After that, hopefully I will be able to do Ragbrai with no problem. :)

Favorite TV Show?

Biggest Loser, Family Guy and Dancing with the Stars.

Favorite Movie?

Alot.. I love movies.

Body Piercings or Tattoos?

Nada.

Have you done something you told yourself you wouldn't?

Probably have a few times but can't think of any specifics right now.

Famous or interesting people you've met?

Lots of football players from the Pro Bowl in Hawaii and I also got my picture taken with Jeff Garcia!

Any cool things you've done?

My senior year after I graduated, I went to Europe and my brother who was stationed in Germany, paid for my sister, mom and me to go. We were there for 3 weeks and I'd go back in a heartbeat. The Gondolas in Venice are awesome :)
Also, my Hawaii trip with great friends.
