Rick Rasmussen

After graduating I joined the 185th ARW in security police and worked a little construction until leaving in Febuary for basic training. After getting back from that I attended USD for a year and that was a big mistake (never went to class). So I started to work for HY-VEE and transferred to Raytown Mo. and Gladstone Mo.(Kansas City) in 1991 to 1994. In July of 1994 I took a full time job with the 185 ARW in Security Police. I then met my wife to be Jamie and we were married in August of 1996. Soon there after we started having children. I worked part time also as a carpenter for Murray White until 2004 when I started my railroad career with Union Pacific. I am still in the 185th as a weekender and do the parent thing, sports, dance, school and vacations.

One story was Lisa Morans party and the cops came and everyone took off running out the back and jumping the fence with a big dropoff and Molly Noonan braking her ankle and giving her a piggy back ride. Many keggars at war eagle and lots of boating on Jim Gubbels boat and once skinny skiing on the missouri. Prom at the Amber Inn in Lemars. Drinking at Shelly Clays when we were freshmen. Matt Bauer rolling my car and me taking the blame. (Remember that one Matt) Playing quarters at Graves house and of course BINGO at BOEVES.
