The service last Saturday for Linda was vey touching. Over 50 folks were there, some coming from Dubuque, Iowa. Her Granddaughter spoke and her Grandson sang and played on guitar an original composition he wrote for her. At the end of the service, he played "Let It Be". There were many pieces of Linda's professional art represented in th dining hall. We miss Linda terrible and know that she is in peace now and watching over her friends and family.

Linda Pratt Fund

Dear Friends and Family of Linda,

As you may know, Linda was an artist and returned to Clarke University at age 50 to complete a Fine Arts de‐ gree. She was proud of this accomplishment and used to donate to the arts program at Clarke to help other students pursue their passion. If you'd like to honor Linda's memory, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the fund she donated to most recently; the Doug Schlesier Art Travel Fund, which was established to award students with funding to travel specifically to study and/or create art.

Judy and I have not been able to access our class site for some time, but as I looked at my e-mail this morning, I thought I would try again and met with success.  We are always saddened when we hear about those from our class who have passed away.  Today's message about Linda's passing was sad for us as we read Jerry's entry.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda's family and closest friends.  It sounds from reading her postings that she had a fulfilling and rewarding life.  Linda, like so many of our class, was undaunted by taking on new challenges throughout her lifetime!

There is always a feeling of loss when ever one of our classmates have left us as each one has, is some ways, enriched our life's experiences. I can remember Linda as a sweet, caring, thoughful and had a funny sense of humor. She seems to have had a full and interesting life and how wonderful for her. Her passing brings sadness to all who knew her.
