Stacie Holtz White

I graduated from Wayne State College 1994 with a BS degree in Early Childhood. I married my high school sweet heart, Michael White. We met at Club 201 where he and my brother Randy were DJ's and spun records!

I am a Early Childhood Consultant and provide training to community businesses.

My career has provided me many opportunities as I have been a Teacher, Day Care Director, Education Manager and a Para-Teacher/Consultant. Currently, I am a National Certified Early Childhood Playground Inspector.

My husband Michael and I, own and operate five martial art schools known as White Tiger Martial Arts Academies. The main school is located in Sioux City on Floyd Blvd. The other schools are located in Siouxland Gymnastics, North Sioux Four Seasons, Holstein, and Ida Grove.

I have fond memories of how friendly everyone was. I was very quiet and shy. I had to learn how to come out of my shell over the years in order to be successful in my career. I treasure the friendships that I gained at school.

Mrs. Anfison really helped me feel confident about learning. I struggled through school for a while. I had a head injury in grade school that made school challenging until I was able to over come those barriers.

Thank you Mrs. Anfison for your dedication and your ability to teach to each student's unique style of learning. You believed in me. My own experience of having learning difficulties inspired me to work with children and provide them the opportunity to succeed in school at the beginning stages of their life.

Spend time with my children and husband. I love to read, research about child development, and best practices when working with them. I collect children's literature. I teach kickboxing on the week-ends. I hold a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Ride my bike, go for walks,run, camp, and spend time with my family.

Watching independent and foreign films, going to the theater, listening to all kinds of music with my awesome husband!

Killers, Lilly Allen, Cure, Depeche Mode, Stevie Nicks, Metro Station, Rush, a mixture of 80's and alternative music. I am really open to listening to a variety of music. My husband and I have a collection of over 200 artists. We love to listen and chat about music. We still have a turn table in our home. Yes, once in a while we take out the records and listen to them.
