Since graduating from Sioux City West I went to California for eight years which is where I met my husband. Then we moved to New Jersey to be closer to his family. I lived and worked there until we moved to sunny Florida two years ago.
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002 which led me to an early retirement from my position with the Public Defenders office where I handled many criminal and child abuse cases.
I get back to Sioux City from time to time. It keeps changing and getting better. It is still the place I call home.
