After High school I went to college, got my masters, and worked as a papal volunteer in Jamaica for two years. Then I m oved to Ca. Taught in Long Beach Ca for 38 years. Married Jim Thompson from Bad Axe, Michigan in 1967. We had 3 children and 6 grand children. Jim died in July 2006 of cancer. I live in an adult community on the Sacramento River in a town of 7000 half way between San Francisco and Sacramento. I teach one class, volunteer, play bridge, paint, golf, and generally relax.
