Sharlene: Our house in Lakeside is at the northern end, near Harbert. We live on "Stevens lane." My husband's grandfather bought property and put up a grand house on the beach. By now there are 5 houses and all but one are family. Not much real estate development because much of the property is part of family compounds like ours. Houses are inherited. Not sure what you have heard, but Union Pier is just south of Lakeside and not really much development there either. We are about 1 1/2 hours from Chicago and go back and forth. Family, friends, and doctors in Chicago along with very good restaurants and museums. I retired in 2011 so we are making it up as we go along. 13 year old grandson is coming some time in August--we hope. He brings along a buddy and the 2 boys are just great to have visit: fishing, go-carts, paddle board, kayaks, plus plenty of beach time. They throw on their suits and get grandpa as soon as they wake up and the 3 of them run down to the lake. Remember Lake Michigan? Susan

Hi Jan: How is Chris? your husband? We have a friend who is an immunologist in Germany.
We will visit her in February. Anything you want me to ask? I know she is involved in transplant surgery. This is a trip to Portugal and Germany that we have cancelled twice!
