Since graduating from Niles West, I have travelled the world and built a wonderful community of family and friends. I've grown stronger in my faith to serve my community. My journey (in no particular order) Stay-at-home father, Greenpeace, Chicago Aldermanic Assistant, Public Relations, Recycling, Political Campaigns, Chicago, Colorado, friends, Indiana University, married, soccer, Germany, Project C.U.R.E., faith, Cubs fan!

I became the world's first sustainability coordinator in 2002 and have been working with health care folks around the world ever since. My goal is to help empower and support anyone who is interested in joining this growing choir that recognizes that the health of our environment directly impacts the health of our communities.

I was a shy and awkward student attending Niles West. Kept my head down and got through the day. My german teacher/soccer coach, Herr Zorn, was the one person who I truly connected with and inspired me to enjoy life. The wonderful thing about life is that you connect with so many nice people on your journey and there were many at Niles West.
