And So It Begins.....Countdown to our Reunion!
We have some fun events planned for the 50th Reunion weekend. I know the Fall seems a long way off, but it will be here before you know it and we need your help! Please click on the Register and Buy Tickets page and sign up for the events you'll be attending. We want to be ready for you!

We've made reservations for our class for Friday night at 5:30 p.m at the Triple J Chophouse before the Cactus Show. There's available parking on the south side of the restaurant but you can also park on the street. The restaurant is directly across the street from the Cactus Theater making it very convenient parking for the evening. Please indicate to the hostess you are with the SHS Class of '64 when you get there. We have an area reserved for 35-40 people.

Cactus Theater Variety Show

The Show Has Been Scheduled - Call and Reserve your Tickets Soon!
If you want to attend the show at the Cactus Theater, you will need to reserve a seat through them by calling the number below. The show is a 50's,60's, and 70's variety show that Don Caldwell has planned especially for us! The show has been scheduled and we have a block of seats(rows 4, 5 and most of row 6) reserved for our class. When you call to reserve your tickets, please state that you are part of the Slaton High School Class of 1964 50th Reunion group. The Cactus will only hold this block of seats until September 2.

Registration is now open for purchasing tickets for our main event - the Harvey House Banquet - that will take place on Saturday night, September 20, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.
On the Register and Buy Tickets page go to the Harvey House Banquet event and you'll have an option to purchase tickets for you and also for your guest. The price for classmates is $52, which includes $2 Pay Pal Fee, and $26 for a guest, including $1 Pay Pal Fee. You don't need a Pay Pal account; this is simply a convenient way to pay online using your credit card or bank account. If you had rather pay by check, you can mail it to Jane/Joe Williamson, 1135 W Lubbock, Slaton, TX, 79364. The cost if paid by check will be $50 for classmates and $25 for guests. Make check payable to Jane WIlliamson.
The money collected from selling banquet tickets will cover the cost of renting the Harvey House, buffet dinner, cleanup, decorations, name tags and postage.
The meal includes:
Beef or Chicken Fajitas served with Warm Flour Tortillas, Refried Beans, Homemade Salsa and Chips, Sour Cream, Cheddar Cheese, Guacamole, House Salad and Fresh Berry Trifle with Almond Cream for dessert. Tea and water will also be available.
There will not be any alcholic beverages for sale, but we will have wine and beer available and you can purchase a wine glass for $10 if you would enjoy a glass of wine with your meal. Beer is available and we ask for a $10 donation to our class fund for that.

- The local motel is Knights Inn located on Hwy 84, room rates: double room-$75/night and single $65/night.
- Harvey House-2 bedrooms that share a hall bath-$125/night -full bed; 1 room with its own bathroom-$135 queen bed; 1 room with bathroom and small sitting room, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed-$140
- Many new hotels in Lubbock
