Nicky Patterson SLATON-Services for Nicky Patterson, 66, of Slaton will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, in Slaton's Westview Baptist Church. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Nicky was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Ft. Worth. He passed from this life Feb. 23, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of the Union/Slaton community, where he farmed for 45 years. Nicky graduated from Slaton High School in 1965. He married Judy West on Feb. 12, 1966, in Slaton. He served in the US Army. Nicky was a member of the South Plains Electric Co-op Board. His survivors are his wife, Judy; daughters, Michelle Watkins and Christi Griffith; son, Dusty Patterson; sister, Fonda Martin; along with five grandchildren. The family will have visitation at the funeral home 6 to 7 p.m. today.
