Need to add In Memory entry for Lori Stover

Lori Lynn (Stover) Rader, 54, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on May 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was born and raised in Smyrna, Delaware. The daughter of Gary Stover, Sr. and June Stover, she attended Smyrna High School and went on to attend Widener University.

Lori played an active role in Stover Builders, Inc. until she moved south with her husband, Richard Rader, to whom she was happily married for nearly 26 years.

An avid equestrian, Lori enjoyed working with and competing her horses. As a certified private plane pilot, Lori was as skilled in the air as she was on horseback. She and Richard also enjoyed sailing. Lori was a woman with a great sense of humor, a kind heart, a commitment to whatever she set her mind to and a loyalty to things she believed in. A true animal lover, Lori volunteered at the Delaware Humane Society for years and was always in the company of her own dogs. Her German Shepherds, Katrin and Logan, were her most cherished companions.

In addition to her husband, Richard Rader of Ocala, FL, Lori is survived by her father, Gary Stover Sr. (Tina) of Southern Pines, N.C., and her mother June Stover of Smyrna, DE. Lori also leaves behind her brother, Gary Stover Jr. (Jennifer) of Middletown, DE, her brother Jeffrey Stover (Kimberly) of Smyrna, DE, a nephew Matthew Stover of Newark, DE, a niece Jillian Brooks (Carl), a grand-niece, Madison and grand-nephew Jacob all of Warwick, MD, an uncle Wayne Stover (Sharon) of Clayton, DE and cousin Jennifer Jones (David) of Clayton, DE.

A service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11am at St. Annes Episcopal Church, 15 Green St. Middletown, DE. Burial to follow at Townsend Cemetery,759 Caldwell Corner Road, Townsend, DE.
