Ken was called home to be with his Lord & Savior on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He was born January 29, 1969 to the late Charles W. Hill & Eleanor M. Kircher in Upper Darby, PA. He was a 1987 graduate of Smyrna High School.
As a young adult Ken lived in California, Oregon and Washington states. It was here he met and married his then wife. They made the decision to move back to Smyrna, DE where they started and were raising their family, in the same small town where he grew up. They were active foster parents for the state of Delaware which lead to the adoption of 3 of their 5 children. He was a member of the Smyrna Church of Christ for many years.
No one was a stranger to Ken. He always liked to share stories and make people laugh. Ken was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Star Wars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his 5 children: James Hill of Chestertown, MD; Jeffrey Hill of Tulsa, OK; Casey Hill of Dover, DE; Ryan Hill of Malvern, PA; Daniel Hill of Smyrna, DE and Granddaughter Violet Hill. His 6 siblings: Cathy White of Camden, DE; Deborah Bratton of Newark, DE; Karl Thrash of Woodside, DE; Cindy DeLizo of Mililani, HI; Diane Wasylkowski of Dover, DE and Charlene Morton of McDonough, GA; along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10 am to 11 am in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial service will begin at 11 am.
