Angela (Angie) Rios

Since school, I obtained my RN liscense and moved to Minnesota. There I worked at the Mayo Clinic and specialized in heart and lung critical care. I spent 12 and a half long winters there. I just moved back to Tennessee in December 2016. I am so happy to be back to Middle Tennessee. My divorce is going slow. I am about to be homeless, kinds :) . But God takes care of us. Me and the boys are moving in with a friend and it’s an opportunity to help out her and she help me.

I currenly work at a Home Health company, Kindred at Home. I am the Cardiac and pulmonary team lead specialist for their heart and lung program. We specialize in care of heart and lung patients who need care in the home. I love my job, my colleagues and the company.

I was kicked out of Drama class. Had to go to freshmen world history my last semester of my senior year.

I played soccer, and had since I was 4 yrs old. Coach Tilton kept me as a captain, even though I could not play my senior years. If it wasn’t for his support, encouragement and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I never skipped school. I never got detention. I got sent to the office once for a slogan on my shirt that my last period teacher though was inappropriate. I walked the halls for 10 minutes and went back to class. I told Mr. Rowlett that the office told me to go back to class and to not wear it again.

One of our valedictorians helped me pass Latin our sophomore year. I know the teacher had to know I was getting the translations from somewhere, because who raises their grade from a 67 to a 100 the next report card? I think she just wanted me out of there. I was the dumbest of the smart people in that class.
