Mrs. Helen Marie Jackson 66 transitioned Tuesday April 6, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Viewing will be 3-6PM on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Funeral services will take place 1PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Mills Funeral Home. Interment shall follow in Mills Memorial Garden. 
She was preceded in death by her mother Pennie Grant Barfield, father Eddie Barfield, sisters: Vanessa Warren and Nadine Thomas, and brothers: Jesse Barfield and Willie Barfield. 
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Jessie Jackson, Jr., one son, Curtis L. Jackson, Sr. (Denetra), one daughter, Candice W. Jackson, 3 granddaughters: Ishauna J. Rasner (Christian), Amanda R. Wilson, Marissa L. Jackson; 3 grandsons: Curtis L. Jackson, Jr., Tre' D. Jackson, and Aaron T. Jackson; and 2 great granddaughters: ILauna Ann Rasner and Alaya R. Strong.
