Mr. Phil Tyndall, age 66, passed away Saturday evening, February 12, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A native of Greene County he was born August 29, 1955, the son of Norman Lee and Geraldine Hill Tyndall. 

Phil graduated from Greene Central High School and worked as an electrician for 40 years until his retirement. He was known as a man of few words that had a strong Christian faith for his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed fishing, building and flying remote control air planes and helicopters, bird watching, and spending time with his family. 

His surviving family includes his wife, Angela “Jill” Tyndall; mother, Geraldine Hill Tyndall of Snow Hill; daughters, Ashley Tyndall Strickland and husband Justin, and Alanna Tyndall, all of Snow Hill; brothers, Ronnie Tyndall, Howard Tyndall, Tim Tyndall and wife Joan, and Mitch Tyndall and wife Kathy, all of Snow Hill; a grandchild, Jada Strickland of Snow Hill; his companion dog, Jasper; and many special nieces and nephews.
