WHAT IS RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method of sharing content without requiring readers to regularly visit a Web site. RSS feeds contain headlines and links to additional information. In this case, RSS feeds will link you to longer strings of information posted in the Class Creator forums. There is no need to use RSS feeds to participate in the Class Creator forums. Rather, it is a convenient option you can exercise if you wish.
HOW CAN I RECEIVE RSS FEEDS?
Desktop software applications known as aggregators (news readers), collect, update and display RSS feeds from a wide variety of sources. A number of aggregators are available for you to download, many at no cost. Other versions are Web and browser-based. News readers vary slightly in how they look and act, so you may find yourself testing several before settling on one. Wikipedia lists many aggregators that will work with a variety of browsers and operating systems. Click here to see the list.
If you wish to try RSS feeds, click the orange square below next to the feed you wish to subscribe to, and then in the yellow box click "Subscribe to this feed." To subscribe to all feeds, click the orange square next to "Latest Posts (all forums)."
