Lynn Whitman Meyer

I lived and worked in Sonoma until 1991. I worked for A.T&T. for too many years. I also worked at Sassarini off and on for over 10 years. For 5 years I worked both jobs which kept me very busy plus raising kids.
I married my high school sweetheart Pat Whitfield in 1970. We both grew apart and wanted different things in life. We had our daughter Jennifer who is a C.P.A. in San Francisco and is still going to school.We then had Jacob who works for the Honda Dealership in Marin.I then married Ron Gomez. We had Nicholas.Nick just left on Dec. 1st 2014 on a one year vacation around the world. He was in New Zealand for 2 weeks and is now in Australia for a month then on to Asia,Europe,and then on to South America.

Then I met my now and forever husband on a blind date in 1990. We have been together ever since.I moved to Morgan Hill in 1991 and transferred to the A.T&T. office in Redwood City until it closed. My husband and I moved back to Sonoma in 1997. We have spent most of our years together buying and selling real estate.

We moved to Lincoln in 2003. I'm still here and working as a nanny. I take care of three children.

My husband was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer January 2014 and fought as long as he could. He passed away March 2015.

I loved High School.My favorite classes were Home Ec. and advanced clothing. My closest friends are laughing because it is true.I do have a few stories to tell about some friends in Home Ec. but do not want to embarrass them. I did have some fun in P.E. I was pretty bad at everything. I do remember being yelled at quite often by Ms. Axton for the entire four years. Then sad to say,when my daughter started high school Ms. Axton saw the resemblance. I am so sorry Jennifer.

I still keep in touch with a lot of my friends that I went to school with. I do cherish the friendships that I have had for such a long time.
