Today is Wednesday Sept. 24th 2014. Our 45th reunion is approaching and I will not be attending. I'm very sad about that. I'm still recovering from my second heart surgery just three weeks ago. I'm mending well but the Meds make me very weak. Hopefully I'll be off the Warfarin in 3 or 4 months, then we can start making travel plans again.
Today is Thursday February 23rd 2012
So much has happened to me since 2008. beginning with losing my job of 30 years in the television industry. At first I couldn't believe the industry was done with me, but when all the job openings only pay a third what they had, it is time to move on.
In May 2010 I moved to Newberg, Oregon where my girl friend Chris had moved in 2005. We were starting a new life together, I completed a class in small business management and started my business plan for Holman's Media Services! Then in Sept. last year I had to have heart surgery to correct my A-fib. Now I'm on the mend and almost off all meds. We are currently looking for a home and shop to start the business. If you have any video questions or if you have a business that needs a video I would love to help you with that.

School Story:

69ers RULE! For those who aren't 69ers or don't remember much of the 60's, here's the thing. Being a "69er" was very cool way, WAY before 1969. Am I right people? Sure growing up we had the same peer pressure other kids that age have, but one thing tied us all together...older people would giggle or chuckle when you mentioned our graduating year... We knew by the time we were 10 years old that 69 was cool, and we were pretty sure it had something to do with sex. 69ers, we were 69ers! the coolest name for a graduating class since Ott-1 and no-one could change that. By the time we were in seventh grade we were chanting 69ers RULE! When we finally arrived at Sonoma High School we were united, everyone, no matter your level of involvement, you were a 69er, and you carried an extra measure of pride because of it.
In 68' as an act of protest we took a section of the Senior Bench and mounted a toilet seat on it and put it back on the bench the same night complete with pull chain. Does anyone remember what we were protesting? I also remember the football made of mud that we scraped from our uniforms. the pyramid of straws that I made in Mr. Seals IA class. Remember the bus trip to Disneyland? The oranges were pure genious, so were pillows and blankets. In Yearbook class I remember convincing Mrs. Riebli to let us tear out a wall between 2 bathrooms in the old music building to build the schools first photography darkroom. I loved selling popcorn at the basketball games Did all schools have their own popcorn makers back then? The cone shaped bags it came in made great paper planes.
