Val Gregory Sims

Working, working, working.. Seems like forever, 31 years with Verizon telephone. Actually started with Continental Telephone, then went to Contel, then went to GTE and now Verizon. Whew a long time, however phone company has been very good to me. We raised two daughters sent them to college. Both girls are married and we have 3 grandchildren 13 year old Garrett, 7 year old Ethan and 3 year old Madelynn. They are the love of our lives now.

I remember Drama class with Mr. Henderson. Teaching us how to relax our bodies by laying on the floor and starting at your toes, moving up, telling each joint to yourself to just relax. I thought it was quite funny at the time, however I use it today to unwind. lol. It works....
I also remember working at the dairy queen across from the school, and on the night shift we would always get in trouble, cause we played the music so load the funeral home next door would tell us to turn it down we were distributing the peace.
