Looking at the photos brought back a memory re how great Father Forker was -- a real regular guy with a sense of humor....I remember playing in the summer hoops league at Hoffman High....he was on the other team and I was having a good scoring game....he began to poke and shove me and grab my jersey....I said "Father, with all due respect, you're a dirty player, fouling me all the time and getting away with it."  His response:  "Bob, the Lord is with me, but if you do anything similar I'll see you in Confession on Saturday."

Also, the girls' beanies are a great fashion statement....priceless.

To the Committee,

I have to echo George's comments.  I don't beleive that a single one of us could have anticipated such a great day!  Cudos to the Committee for their time and passion in bringing this special day to us.  The venue, the food, definitely the bar, the weather and the buttons!  What a great idea.

I'm sure that Saturday's memories will remian with all of us for a long time.  And lets not forget the 19 classmates that were not able to join us.

Thanks again for a great reunion!

Joe

Our reunion was a wonderful success.  The Shadowbrook was lovely, the weather perfect and the people were just the best.  Thanks to our classmates Maureen, Fran, Jane, Sue and Mike for making this possible and thanks to Carol for keeping our class page up and running, the pictures are great.

Best wishes to all of my fellow '62 grads.  My prayer is that you are all safe from the storm and remain close to your family and friends.

To all my former classmates, I hope and pray you and your families are all safe from this pass storm Sandy. I hope you still have your homes, and power has been restored. When we traveled down to New Jersey for the reunion, we did our usual trip down to Sandy Hook and Highlands to see the ocean, down to Brick to visit my  nieces; and to think only a couple of weeks later, its all gone. This reunion was a great day, and chance to see so many 1962 SMHS grads, but now new meaning has been added to that special day. My prayers are with you all, and hope this next storm does not come  up the northeast coast.

Hi!  We're fine and we among the lucky ones. We didn't have power or heat until this past Friday afternoon but in comparison with so many other foks, we consider ourselves to have been very blessed. We stayed with a close friend and Dan's family. It left  you feeling like you were a refugee but we still were able to eat, sleep and survive. Thanks for caring! It was great seeing you and meeting your husband and here's hoping that we can do this again. God bless you both.  Peggy Reese O'Neill

Sandy Popowski asked me to pass along this info.

Carline Zumbano and Ed Kloskowski's son is doing a 220 mile run for

the victims of the Hurricane. There is an article about him on the website Run4NJ.org where donations
can be made. He is going to give 1/3 of the money raised to Catholic Charities, 1/3 to Sayreville
(where he has relatives and friends that are suffering), and 1/3 to Architects for Humanity who are helping to
rebuild the Jersey Shore.
