Dot Baranowski Harrigan (Joe) passed away in January 2008 from a cerebral hemorrage while sitting in the dentists' chair. She had been married and divorced from Joe Harrigan, resided in Morgan, NJ, and had two sons and a daughter.
We lost track of each other for a few years after High School, but had rekindled our friendship in the 80s. Alice Christina, Frannie Brown, Dot and a couple of others got together every 4 or 5 weeks for dinner where we chatted about our lives and adventures. At the time of her death she was in a relationship with Ed Burlew and lived in Cliffwood. She's missed by us all but we still talk about her when we get together for dinner and a glass of wine.
Dottie Baranowski Harrigan was a very nice person..She snagged Jim O'Leary and me to help with the Twenty-First class reunion. She was a very remarkable lady and always made one feel great when talkling with her.,,,When she would see me, she would yell out for all to hear... there is Al Ust my classmate.. Now Dottie always kept her High School looks and appeared way much younger than me...But she always made me feel good..
I had the honor to coach her daughter Lisa for St Mary's 8th grade basketball. And she was a remarkable child just like her mother. She is now a Doctor...I was saddened by her passing and hope she is watching from above.
I certainly miss all the classmates that have passed on but Dottie the most.
