I had no idea about Ray's passing. We had not seen each other since 1962. I do remember that we had a lot of laughs together. He had an amazing dry wit. I think Ray was from Belford [Middletown today?] and I liked to kid him about traveling to SMH each day, by saying what the hell are you doing in So. Amboy? Weren't you smart enough to get into Red Bank Catholic? Ray I'm sorry about the trouble I got you in junior year with Tom Quinlan and Sister Leonard over the German class incident. Me wrong. For you who don't remember [that probably means all of you] Ray had a 5 win 1 loss pitching record senior year, winning half our baseball games that season. Great going Ray.Hope you had a great life.
