I remember Ted quite well. We were locker partners. The only class I remember with Ted was English. I believe he was a member of the marching band playing coronet. I rember that our locker, like most, was very crowded in the winter with a lot of books and  heavy cloths. I believe his father was involved with the local Boy Scouts Council.
