Pat and I are very excited.   We sent our money in last week.  Feeling good karma that this will be a great class reunion!

Susan, you are to be commended!  Thank you for making it possible.

Anyone on board with maybe having a meeting point for Friday night before the reunion?  Perhaps the Pour House in South Burlington?  Ideas?

I also wanted to suggest that everyone possible bring their 1974 year book.  Wouldn't it be fun to get comments written 40 years later?  Ha-Ha!   Not to mention a way to get phone numbers and email addresses, etc..

Hi Jill, Chuck and Classmates,

Thank you both for your posts.  Four months 'til our 40th reunion and it's exciting to see people committing to our reunion.  Everyone can log in and see who is going.  Make sure you all nudge your friends to attend this fun event.  Remember, the more the merrier!

Jill, thanks for your suggestion of Friday night at the Pour House. That sounds fantastic!  Let us know what time and we'll be there.  Great idea too on dusting off our yearbooks and bringing them to the reunion.  

I was thinking of recruiting people to help at the check in table the night of the reunion.  Hoping to get people from other classes to help out so everyone from our class can mingle.  If you know of anyone that would be interested let me know. (maybe 4-6 people)

Also, SBHS is putting together a list of former teachers and administators, with contact information, so we can invite them as our guests to the reunion.

My dear fellow 'Vermonsters' and classmates from SBHS '74: I am so very excited about finally being involved in this long-awaited class reunion, as reuniting with all of you means so much to me!   I have had to undergo two major surgeries in the last 11 weeks, and am struggling to recuperate from the toll it has thus far taken on my body, although I should be much better overall as a result.  I am going to buy my ticket, and do what it takes to be there - should that become impossible for me, please know that I am thinking of you and will be looking for updates on this site.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields 
and until we meet again, 
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Hi everyone!

So excited for the big 40th Reunion!  Hope to see some of you tonight at the Pourhouse too!

I will be bringing my yearbook so I have a place to get some emails and maybe some autographs, as apparently I missed the boat on that in 1974!  haha

Also, I want to send out a special THANK YOU to Susan Delaney Shepard for pulling this whole reunion together.  I don't know how she did it, but I know it took a huge amount of time and work.  It will be a special time to remember for all of us, I'm sure.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SUSAN, FROM THE CLASS OF 1974!   (ouch! 40 years?)
