I agree that the CarePages site is a great way to send Kristina and her family your thoughts and prayers. They definitely need any positive energy that you can provide, if you are willing.
Since many of our classmates have expressed an interest in supporting Kristina and her family I believe we should try to do something to show united support from our graduating class. I have a few conversation in progress for "ideas" of what we can do. I expect to have some suggestions to offer up next week.
If you have any suggestions that you would like to share please let me know. You can contact me at SStrecker@hotmai.com or via the message area on this website. Thanks!
If anyone is interested, my Mom came across a box of about 20 copies of our 'Video Yearbook' from Senior Year. (Ah yes, my 'infamous' Senior project, in which I now take zero responsibility for the sheer lack of my taste in background music, etc.) I think it runs about an hour and a half long and actually has one of our high school football games on it. (I think it's Homecoming game?)
I could also have these set to DVD. Seems like a waste to throw them all out. Shoot me an email if you want one at: nicole.ferguson@clcnationwide.com.
I have been in contact with Andrea Cook's parents. They say they are going to email me some pictures. When they do so I will forward them to Kevin and Steve to be put up on her page.
Dennis, did you happen to find out when it was that Andrea died. I was going to try and find out from the Herald or from Phillips because I think we really should know the date. Thanks.
I just wanted everyone to know that Kristina Rogers is progressing wonderfully! She is (hopefully) having her last surgery today in the Trauma Burn Unit. Everyone say a prayer for her!!!
"Porath hitting approximately 5 cats on the way home from somebody's house one night"
-- It was coming home from Calka's house
-- It was only 1 cat
-- I tried like a motherf**ker to avoid that thing... you were in the front seat. I was friggin' sideways in the middle of 6 Mile Road. The tire marks were still there the last time I was down that way (about 8 years ago). The Rustang had shit brakes and even shittier tires.
Had to defend my honor there... I am not a ruthless killer.
Steve - I will admit I laughed when I read Barnstormers!!! I think a few pom routines may have been born out of crazy dance moves seen/done there...I trust the judgement of my reunion committee, though! :)
Porath, send your PowerPoint my way! I'll take it over Excel any day!!!!
