School Story:
I was two years younger than most everyone else, so I could never quite keep up when it came to the important things (dating, driving, drinking, and sports).
But I do remember camping out before the Rose Parade with Bill Hoist, Shelley Baldridge, Jim Tranquada, and many more. One year, it poured all night, and several of us took refuge under a truck. The next morning, a float playing "Raindrops Keeps Falling on My Head" parked right in front of us - and played the song over and over again. It was the closest I've ever come to wanting to jump off a cliff.
