Retired in 2005 after 21 years at Lake-Sumter Community College in Leesburg, FL as an executive assistant. Sold real estate in Pompano Beach, FL for 12 years prior to moving to Central Florida (Tavares).
I have two grandsons: Spencer (27) who teaches Algebra and coaches football at Leesburg High School and Tyler (23) who is a property manager in Orlando. Both are graduates of University of Central Florida.
(Married Bill Langfeld in 1961, divorced in 1988. Married Bob Rosenquist in 1994, divorced the same year.) Became a "dancin' fool" and got pretty darned good at ballroom and C&W until I fractured both ankles in 2004. Now, I spend quite a bit of time reading and playing on the computer or my Nook. I live in a small community of villas (since 1989) and my back yard overlooks the Discovery Gardens of the Lake County Extension of University of Florida. It's so peaceful!

I had a respectable grade point average at SRHS until I met Langfeld. Mr. Shay said he was my downfall. We lasted 35 years, however, so I guess Shay wasn't 100% correct. Great friends still keep in touch; Pat Dombrowski and Marcy Schwarz, who were both attendants in my wedding in '61 and I in theirs. Missed Felicia Modzelewski on my last trip to South River when my mother passed away. Met Janet Sanders several years ago in a mall here in Leesburg and recognized her immediately, even after 44 years. SRHS provided me with literally the best years of my life. I wish I could do it all over again. Cherished memories!
