Our Community
South San Francisco High School has maintained a strong presence in the city since opening in 1913. It is nestled in the small residential area of the "Industrial City". The leading industry now in our city is biotechnology.
We have a diverse student population. Along with our neighbor, Daly City, we are the most diverse area of the world.
Our school has 30 home languages, with students from all over the globe. We are proud of our diversity, and celebrate our students in a variety of clubs and activities.
