After high school, I attended Wayne State College for one year. Not knowing what my direction was, I left Wayne the next year and began attending Western Iowa Tech. The following year, I graduated WITCC and simultaneously got married. Nine months later, I welcomed the birth of my daughter, Zoe! I lived and worked in Sioux City until April of 1999, at which time I moved to Kansas City. Shortly after moving to KC, I separated from my husband and in 2000, we divorced after 9 years of marriage. Struggling and working hard, I managed to buy my own house and work my way up the ladder at HCA Midwest (a large hospital corporation). Now, 2009 finds me continuing to work for HCA full time (from home) as the Transcription Services Technician, functioning as the Voice Recognition System Administrator. I am also furthering my education with the goal of completing my Computer Science degree. This fall my daughter will be a senior in high school (how did THAT happen?)! Can't wait to see everyone in July! :)
