I lived in Cottage Grove where we bought our first house. Then, we moved to Farmington. Now, my children and I live is SSP-only one minute from work-I love not having to commute on snowy days!!!!
I had a plan to be a teacher and I have been doing that for 15 years now.
So many odd jobs here and there but nothing exciting.
I went to Inver Hills Community College and received an AA degree. I finished at St. Kate's with a BA in Elementary Education. I was hired in SSP as a first grade teacher. I married Chris Bauer in 1998. I received my Masters degree in Elementary Education in 2002. I had two babies close together so I took a year off of work to be home with them. Went back to work in SSP as a second grade teacher and that's where I am right now.
I am the only one who lives in SSP. My sister and step-sisters all live in North Carolina. My mom lives in Arkansas. My step-dad lives in Florida. My dad is still in Roseville, MN.
Did I leave?
I work with Jen Bauer and Joanne Pachl. I talk with Nat and Tina every week. We have planned "get-togethers" with: Lisa Marlow, T, Nat, Mary Lou, Sarah, Jessie, Salli, Dana, Vicki Buchl, and myself. I see a lot of people around town.
I really, really hope Char will be at the reunion. I lost touch with her quite a long, long time ago.
The girl that I stayed with in Odessa during our exchange trip our senior year, Irina, will be coming to the reunion and staying with me for a few days. We have not seen each other in 19 years. We recently found each other on Facebook. Can't wait to see her and try-out my "rusty" russian conversation-all three words of it!
Not that I know of and not that I want to know!
T's cabin, T's house, T's roof, T's dad's truck. I see a pattern-good times!
I traveled a bit right after high school. I went back to the former USSR to visit the friends I made during the high-school exchange program. We also had a nice vacation in the Domincan Republic and other places here and there.
