Graduated from University of Michigan Dearborn after transferring from Eastern Michigan. Played college hockey and increased my exposure enough to attract some attention from a couple minor pro hockey teams. Was lucky enough to practice with the Detroit Red Wings for two days. Had minor pro tryouts in Michigan with 2 teams before I moved to New York City for work.
