I went to work in New York after high school and then moved to Conneticut. Decided to come back home and go to UVSC where I met my husband Dale. His parents owned a floral and I helped out. He got a job with U P & L six weeks after we were married so we moved to Price. 10 months later we were able to bid back and built a house in American Fork. After he became a Journeyman lineman we moved to Lava Hot Springs ID. A year later we moved while he built a new line to Cedar City, Richfield and St. George, then went back to ID when it was completed. We finally were able to bid back to Utah and came back to A.F. later moving to Highland where we have lived for 17 years. We sold our big family home and yard and sized both down a bit and built a new home by the Timpanogos temple. I worked at Timp Valley Floral for 33 years, part time on and off while raising my family, and full time after buying it almost 21 years ago, having my children work with me.
I enjoy my hobbies, one of which is scuba diving, (I certified on my 45th birthday) we have been to New Zealand and Figi, where we got our advanced diving certification. We love to travel, quilt,
wakeboard, and surf, mostly at Lake Powell. I love my scrapbook group! Life is great at this age. We took all the family to Disney World in Florida in March and had such a great time! We stay busy with our family, church callings, work and play. It's been a wonderful 33 years with my husband and best friend Dale.
