After high school, I attended Tennessee Tech. I initially didn't like it too much but eventually enjoyed it so much that I didn't want to leave. I double-majored in History/English and also earned a teacher's certification so I ended up at Tech for a total of seven years and earned like two hundred plus credit hours and only earned a B.A. I came back to White County High School and taught for two years before I decided that teaching high school wasn't for me. I have since returned to Tennessee Tech where I work as a graduate teaching assistant in the English department while working on my M.A. in English. I love my job and the people I work with. I should be knee-deep in my thesis by the time of the reunion this fall so I look forward to seeing everyone if I can manage to leave my cave of study for a few moments. The office that I and my fellow TAs share is not called "The Dungeon" for nothing!
