Michael Bos - Class Of 1970 VIEW PROFILE

BOS, Michael A. Michael Alan Bos passed away January 18th at the age of 68. Mike was born January 27, 1952 in Spokane to Richard and Betty Bos. Mike spent summers on Windy Bay on Lake Coeur d'Alene, where he caused mischief with his brother and the neighbors that fostered his love for the water. He graduated from Ferris High School in 1970. He worked many jobs as a young man which led to a long successful career in the meat and foodservice industry, working at S&P Meats, Sysco, and Food Services of America. Mike left behind a strong legacy, hard work ethic and successful career, but most importantly, a lifetime of friendships. Mike is survived by his devoted family. Mike married the love of his life Tanya in 1974. For 46 years Mike and Tanya shared a marriage that was filled with love, adventure, hard work, and countless adventures. Their relationship and devotion to each other was inspiring. Together they created a beautiful family and extended their love when each of their children married; Son Darrick Phillip, wife Angelique, children Sierra and Skout. Daughter Tanisha Jean, husband Jad, children Breven, Izzie, Ryker and Fletcher. Daughter Shalena Mae, husband Anthony, children Kinsley and Jamison Jean. Mike is also survived by his brother and friend Marty, sister-in-law Lorrie and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved his family dearly and worked tirelessly for their well-being. Mike had many passions in life; water skiing, sailing, boating, snow skiing, and golfing were a few. Mike's greatest enjoyment was spending time with his eight grandchildren he was proud to be keeping up with all the grandkids while skiing at 49 Degrees North or running to catch the last roller coaster ride of the day at Silverwood. He was his kids and grandkids biggest fan and was so eager to cheer them on in whatever they pursued; he earned the title of "world's best Dad/Grandpa" in every way. In 2006, Mike and Tanya bought their own piece of paradise on Pend Oreille where they could play, laugh and soak in the sun with their favorite people. Mike could be found watching the Seahawks, Gonzaga and the WSU Cougars. When he fully retired in 2016, he continued his love/hate relationship with golf and spent numerous hours on the area golf courses with great friends. While our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for all the cherished memories we have. Mike will forever be remembered as an amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He made us all better, stronger, and more fun-loving. He will continue to be with all of us on our adventures as we live on.
