Survived By: His father, William, preceded David in death. He leaves his mother Nancy Heinrich of West Seattle, a sister Carla Saxon, nephew Derek, and niece Lauren of Everett, aunts and uncles, Shirley Tetrick, West Seattle, Mary & LeRoy Rygula, Spokane, Florence & Joe Smerdon, Bridgewater, NJ and many cousins throughout the U.S.
David M. HEINRICH David was born in Syracuse, NY on 2/21/65 and lived in California before moving to Spokane, WA in 1971. He graduated from Ferris High School and received degrees from Claremont McKenna College in California and Eastern Washington University. He made his home in Seattle for many years. David was "lost at sea" 10/24/09 while working on an oceanography research ship between Japan and Guam. He loved anything related to the water and was an advanced swimmer and scuba diver and had worked on various types of ships, traveling to many countries.
Family and friends will miss his gentle nature and giving personality. Remembrances may be made in his name to: Retreat Fund, Chagdud Gompa Foundation (CGF), PO Box 279, Junction City, CA 96048. A private memorial at sea has been held for family and close friends.
