Lille Beth Boswell-Hammerstrom passed away Sept. 9 at her home in Silverthorne. She was 4. Boswell-Hammerstrom was born in Portland, Ore., on Aug. 23, 1966. Her parents were the late Frank and Jewel (Dukeshire) Hammerstrom. As a young child she and her family moved to Washington where she attended high school in Spokane.In 1998, Boswell-Hammerstrom moved to Colorado to be near her sister Halle. There she met and married Richard Boswell on Nov. 23, 2004 in Summit County. Boswell-Hammerstrom was very interested in marketing and was pursuing a career in that field. She also enjoyed poetry, photography, the arts and was an accomplished decorator. She had recently become involved in a women’s bible study group at the Rocky Mountain Bible Church and always looked forward to those meetings.Boswell-Hammerstrom is preceded in death by both her parents and a brother, Roger Bockman. She is survived by her husband Richard and young son, Elias, both of Silverthorne; children Kodi, Michael, Kaden, Kaitlin, Mackenzie and Chelsea; sisters Halle (Robert) Friedman of Colorado Springs, Jenne (Patrick) Butler of Reno, Nev., Samme (Thomas) Newman of Liberty Lake, Wash., Glenna (William) Jones of Staunton, Va. and Tracee (Kenneth) Bougger, of Lincoln, Neb.; and brothers Paul Bockman of Spokane and David (Tina) Bockman, of Ephrata, Wash.There will be a visitation on today from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. Both will be held at Rocky Mountain Bible Church in Frisco. The Reverend Bruce Miles will officiate. Boswell-Hammerstrom will be laid to rest in Dillon Cemetery and her family will receive friends at a reception back at the church following the interment. Pallbearers will be Dave Tubbs, David Rehfeld, Justin Boswell, Jim Ross, Ken Switzer and Richard Flyg.Arrangements are being handled by Bailey Funeral Home in Leadville.A fund is being set up to help with expenses.
