Joe Ed Lockwood, age 74, passed away on February 24, 2024, in Spokane, WA.

Joe Ed was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on November 25, 1949, to Joe and Mary Lou Lockwood. At age 12, Joe Ed and his family moved to the greater Spokane area where he later graduated from Ferris High School – then joining the United States Air Force. An avid craftsman, post his military career, Joe Ed, worked in construction, while enjoying travel, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family.
Joe Ed was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rhonda Lockwood, and is survived by his wife, Karen Lockwood; siblings Nancy Johnson (sister), Jeff Lockwood (brother), Phil Lockwood (brother), Ammon Burton (brother), Dana Rickey (sister); daughters Kim Summers, Keri Jo Larson, Heidi Kulinski; sons Lyle Lockwood and KC Brown; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe Ed lived a full and happy life believing completely in the Lord and the promise of resurrection in a new world. Remembrance gathering details to be announced at a later date.
