MILLER, Cynthia Ann (Thomas) Cynthia Ann Miller (Thomas) passed away on May 7, 2007 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. She was born in Berkeley, CA in 1959. Cynthia moved to Spokane with her parents and five brothers and sisters from Manhattan Beach, CA in 1969. She attended Our Lady of Fatima and Hamblen Elementary Schools, Sacajawea Jr. High School and graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School in 1977. In 1979 she received her AA Degree from Spokane Falls Community College in the design field. She married Mark Miller, a Golf Course Architect, from Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1986. While living in Ft. Collins, Cynthia went on to create her own business, "Critters, Inc." sculpting one-of-a-kind whimsical figurines. Cynthia and Mark also lived in Honolulu, HI, and finally Seattle, WA during their 19 year marriage. Cynthia brightened workplaces as an Event Coordinator and Veterinary Clinic Receptionist. She also graced newspapers, videos, and brochures as a print and advertising model. Her last days were spent at Friday Harbor, WA with her special friend Jack Clay, and our father's beloved "Mr. Kat". Cynthia was a talented equestrian, artist and gardener and loved animals and birds. She successfully pursued any creative or social endeavor with flair, humor, verve and a huge sense of giving. She was a thoughtful, loving person with an incredible smile that lit up any room. Even a stranger could not leave her presence without having a new friend.
