ObituaryFuneral Services for Army Spec. 4 James E. Bowden, 19, who was killed in Vietnam combat 4 Sep (1968) will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Thornhill-Geraghty Funeral Home. Spec. Bowden was born in San Francisco and came to Spokane when he was 12 years old. He would have observed his 20th birthday on 19 Sep (1968). Survivors include his father, Edward Bowden, Clason MI; two brothers, Charles Bowden in San Francisco and Michael Bowden, Clauson; his grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Schoemperlin, Seattle, and foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Thompson, Spokane.
